SNP Profiling
GeneSeek provides contract R&D genotyping services across all of our technology platforms. A major focus is provision of 3K – 800K SNP chips used for genetic association studies to discover genes and haplotypes that predict trait and disease predisposition. High throughput and low cost SNP chip genotyping are available for a number of species. We are enabled to do agronomic crop genotyping as well. GeneSeek offers Illumina’s Infinium BeadChip service as a Certified Service Provider. The chips were developed by leading agricultural researchers and thousands of SNP markers have been validated throughout the agricultural industry. The chips offer a >99% average call rate and 99.9% reproducibility.
