Soleris® Software
Microbiology at the Speed of Light®

One of the most significant features of the Soleris system is its software, specially designed to provide the following functions:

The Soleris software, embedded in a Windows® based PC collects the optical data of the  test vials (up to 1024) every 6 minutes. The dynamic pattern of each test vial is analyzed in real time to provide instantaneous determinations of presence and concentrations of active microorganisms. An internal detection algorithm is activated for each individual test vial based upon the specific customer’s products and associated tests. Internally embedded calibration functions automatically convert Detection Times to CFU concentrations. All results are automatically archived in a history file to provide audit trails and generate reports and trend analyses.

Samples Information Display

The relevant data of each test vial can be effectively displayed with a few mouse strokes. Choosing a specific location (vial) in the individual incubator, a popup window provides the information of the sample code, the product, the associated test, entry data and time, status and remaining run time, and the automatically determined Detection Time and calculated CFU concentration. The information is color coded where red indicates a sample contaminated above the specified level. Optionally the dynamic pattern can also be displayed where the Detection Time is clearly displayed on the generated curve.

Powerful Reports and Trend Analysis

The Soleris software has built in reporting function that can generate the following reports:

Each of the printed reports can be further customized to report only Above Spec (contaminated) samples or Below Spec. (safe) samples. In addition the user may choose to report only those samples that had not been previously reported. Graphical trend analysis is an excellent tool to follow trend of individual products over specific periods of time.

Plant Manufacturing Lines Hygiene

The Plant Location module is dedicated to documenting, analyzing and mapping individual plant locations hygiene. Beginning with a list of all sampled manufacturing lines locations, QC managers can predetermine the number of samples to be tested and the frequency of sampling for each location. Using this information, the system generates a daily report of the locations to be sampled that day.

The Line Trend Analysis function provides a graphic view of level trends over time of specific sampled lines.

The Soleris Connectivity

The Soleris software has the ability to alert users remotely via multiple channels. Real time alerts of positive (above specification) results can be immediately transmitted by the Soleris Remote Data Viewing package to users via telephone or electronic mail.

Test results can be transmitted to designated users as soon as they are activated in the computer controlling the Soleris instruments. There’s no waiting for the report: You can release merchandise the moment the results are in.
