Food Adulterations

Reveal for Ruminant in Feed is an immunochromatographic lateral flow assay used for the qualitative analysis of ruminant byproducts in feed. The test can detect as little as 1% ruminant by-products in feed and feed supplements.

Reveal for Ruminant in MBM is an immunochromatographic lateral flow assay used for the qualitative analysis of ruminant MBM in nonruminant animal meal. The test can detect as little as 2% ruminant MBM in nonruminant animal meal.

Food Allergens

Neogen’s Reveal for food allergen kits for peanut and total milk are easy-to-use and interpret strip tests that screen samples for food allergen at 5 ppm in 10 minutes or less. If the test detects at least 5 ppm, two lines will form on the simple test device. The formation of only one line indicates a negative test result.

Neogen's Reveal 3-D tests allow for rapid screening for the presence of low levels of allergen in CIP rinses and environments swabs virtually anywhere. The eight Reveal 3-D allergen tests utilize a 3-line readout: a control line confirms the method has been performed successfully and two further lines differentiate low & high levels of detection.

Foodborne Pathogens

Neogen’s Reveal test systems have everything to complete a pathogen screen, including the enrichment medium. Reveal’s lateral flow device combines an immunoassay with chromatography for a rapid and accurate one-step result. Results are available 15 minutes after enrichment. The tests’ unique antibodies ensure sensitivity and specificity. Built-in visual control lines provide definitive interpretations.

Neogen's Reveal 2.0 test system maintains all the performance of its previous generation, but it has been streamlined to a cartridge-free design and validated on an even more comprehensive list of matrices.

Natural Toxins

Neogen's new Reveal Q+, a quantitative test, along with the Reveal, a visual screening test and Reveal SQ, a semi-quantitative test, are extremely easy-to-use and interpret test strips. The Reveal AccuScan® III lateral flow test reader provides an easy method to objectively read, store, and analyze results from Neogen’s Reveal product line.

Seafood Analysis

Neogen’s Reveal for ASP (amnesic shellfish poisoning) is a lateral flow assay which detects domoic acid. The Reveal for Histamine is a rapid visual screening test for histamine in scrombroid species of fish such as tuna and mahi-mahi.
