HR Coordinator/Administrative Staff

To perform all plant human resource duties, payroll functions, order processing, procurement support and administrative duties as listed below. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Order Processing and Procurement:
- Process Order Packing Slips from Solomon Based Management System.
- Printing and checking each order for accuracy and shipping efficiency with distribution.
- Advise Production Manager of any unusual type or quantity of items ordered to prioritize production schedule.
- Work with Customer Service Manager located in Lexington, KY office to resolve any issues that may exist between the two locations.
- Confirm and expedite shipments as necessary; entering shipped quantities and lot numbers as well as contacting freight companies for freight charges.
- Manifest entry; enter shipping information on forms: Weight, Cost and Bill of Lading Number. Maintain OEM customer, monthly shipment and export files.
- Monitor open orders and orders not shipped on time. Provide good communication to the proper personnel to resolve these issues.
- Process work orders in a timely manner, as required.
- Enter batch sheets as soon as received from production personnel.
Human Resources:
- Assist in recruitment efforts including internal posting of jobs, generation and placement of recruitment ads.
- Assist in candidate interviews.
- Manage resume files and job applications. Send rejection letters as appropriate.
- Assist in checking references for possible new hires.
- Submit Payroll Change Notice Forms and new hire paperwork to corporate for approval.
- Perform new employee orientation requirements.
- Maintain employee files/paperwork including retention and destruction.
- Help facilitate benefit changes.
- Conduct exit interviews and submit paperwork to corporate HR.
- Provide assistance to employees with HR questions. Direct to proper HR personnel.
- Communicates employee related issues, including, but not limited to leaves of absence, workers compensation, and disciplinary actions to Corporate Human Resources in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
- Coordinate efforts as requested by Corporate Human Resources.
- Forward all HR related documents to HR on a timely basis.
- Facilitate annual review process.
- Oversee bulletin board postings.
- Schedules new hire physicals and drug testing.
- Note: Time requirements to perform the job functions outlined above will consist of about 10% to 20% of the overall job requirements. There will be times it could be more than 20% of the time but most of the time 10% or less.
Payroll:
- Maintain time clocks and assist with employee ID cards for punching in and out.
- Work with corporate HR to process leave requests.
- Maintain and update PTO requests and spreadsheet.
- Prepare payroll change notices.
- Review and approve payroll hours.
- Submit payroll prior to due date and time.
Education and/or Experience:
Associates Degree or equivalent experience required. One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid driver's license.

Warehouse Stock Handling Clerk

Responsible for all duties required to ship, receive and keep good inventory of products for the Hacco warehouse. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Load and unload trucks and move pallets with a forklift.
- Operate the stretch wrap machine.
- Keep pallets in an orderly manner in warehouse.
- Prepare shipping documents.
- Assist in training other employees.
- Loading and unload of shipments from or for carriers and ensure that the shipment reconciles with proper paperwork.
- Process received shipments according to written procedures.
- Identify process improvements that will lead to greater efficiencies in the receiving operations.
- Organize storage of products to facilitate efficient picking of product for shipping customer shipments.
- Ensure finished products are properly stored according to product label and inventory control procedures.
- Miscellaneous projects assigned by the Logistics Manager.
- Work with all employees to maintain a clean and orderly-warehousing environment.
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Perform daily check list on all forklifts in warehouse.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. May require a CDL with Hazardous Chemical Certification. Fork lift certification required.
